Today was a huge success at the show - with everyone leaving with either red or blue ribbons!! Tanner (Tan UR Hyde) placed first in both of her Western Dressage Classes with a 67 in Intro 1 and a 63 in Intro 2. Shelly and Vicki placed first in Intro A with a score of 66.25, second in Intro B with a 68.438 and second (only by one collective mark!!) in Intro C with a 64.750! Bridgette and Coconut placed first in Greenie Weenie with a score of 70.6 - now we have two students in the 70% Club!!! Megan and Rex placed second in Greenie Weenie with a score of 57 in their SECOND show ever! Music and I improved our Training Level Test 3 with a score of 60.4 and a first place. We also placed first in both our First Level Tests with scores of 56.897 and 55.270! Shelley received some wonderful comments on her collective remarks - "Nice Pair - correct riding to contact - nice to see at this level!"
We are looking at having Darlene Dixon-Bottorff come and do a clinic here at BFE. She offers two different formats - one is the typical lesson type format. The other is a lecture along with the lesson. I was wondering which format people would be more interested in. I was also wondering who may be interested in coming! Thanks!
Darlene is a National level champion dressage rider/trainer. USDF Bronze ans Silver medalist and "L" graduate. She promotes classical dressage riding and training. |
