BFE had a successful day showing at Willing Horse Farm yesterday. It started with the Greenie Weenie riders. Lauren and Barbie took first place in the U13 Greenie Weenie division - what a great way for the two of them to start their showing as a team! This was followed by Addy placing second and MaKenzie placing third all in the same division. All three of them were within a point of eachother! These girls have all worked hard and it is showing off!
Then the Intro riders! Sydney rode her boy Logan to a second place in JR Intro A and a first in JR Intro B and first in JR Intro C! Gretchen Karl took Rooster to his second show since retiring off the track about 6 months ago and placed third in JR Intro A and second in JR Intro B! Good job teaching him shows are fun and keeping it low stress Gretchen! Bridget Robertson finished up the JR division on her new horse - Smoke! This was their first show together and Bridget has owned him a very short amount of time and they earned first in Intro A and second in Intro B.
The Adult Amateur riders also showed what they were made of! Bonnie Lake took Fantine to a first place in AA Intro A and a second place in AA Intro B. They were both calm, relaxed and had a lot of fun! What a way to not stress! Carisa Norman took her newly off the track mare (also just 6 months off the track) to a third place in Intro A and also Intro B. They made huge progress being chill and calm cool and collected at the show and can look forward to working on bends and contact at the next show!
Laura Mealey and Tanner had the calmest and most relaxed show as of yet! All the halts were sustained and Tanner jogged around the arena just like it was home! They earned first place in both their tests - Western Dressage Intro 1 & 2.
BreAnne and Grateful took a successful swing at First Level! Nobody would have known it was their first time riding the tests in a full regulation arena! They earned first place in both their tests - AA First One and Two!
