Ok - so here's the Stones River Pony Club Update!

Jessica and Nattie entered their first Novice division together and totally ROCKED it! They finished on their dressage score of 37.8 winning first place and Champion! It was a very tough Stadium round and they made it look easy!
I took Shadow around Baby Green to a massive improvement from his last time showing at this show. All the hard work Martha has put into him showed off. He also finished on his dressage score of 44.4 placing first and Champion!
Martha and Shadow showed in Tadpole finishing on their dressage score winning their division!
Adrienne and Image had their first ever combined training show. It is just their second show as a team. They finished Tadpole Adult on their dressage score placing second and Reserve!
Syd and Logan also had their first combined training show together finishing their Tadpole division in first place and Champion!
Gretchen and Rooster warmed up great and had a mishap in their dressage test where Rooster came up lame - he scratched the rest of the weekend but was totally chill at this venue which is awesome for his first time there.
Lauren and Barbie got compliment after compliment and were absolutely adorable in their second show as a team and first time showing Combined Training finishing on their dressage score winning first place and Champion in their Ameoba division.
Makenzie did a great job keeping her nerves at bay and met her personal goals for this show. She is really starting to mature. She also placed first and Champion in her Ameoba divison with Rex.
So in sum - Saturday we had five championships and one reserve! How awesome is that?!?!?!

Sunday was another LONG but productive day!
Lauren and Barbie started their Greenie Weenie test with a little more energy than expected but Lauren very confidently rode around and stepped up to the plate! They placed first in Greenie Weenie and were High Point Greenie Weenie!
Addy and Rex navigated their Greenie Wennie test into second place - just 0.6 points behind Lauren! So close!! Addy was a great sport who came and helped Makenzie with her rides on Saturday and stayed the entire time on Sunday to help and support the team! For sure one dedicated kid!
Bonnie is amazing and when she hear that Rooster went lame she offered up her pony - Hocus for Gretchen to ride. She got up really early brought her to the show, braided her, and saved the day! To top it off it was Bonnie's birthday! What an amazing person! We really appreciate you Bonnie!!!!
Gretchen rode Hocus around Intro A and B earning comments such as "well planned ride" on a horse she had never ridden before! They placed first and second in their classes - just swapping places with Bridget and Smoke!!
Bridget and Smoke also had their second show together and they did all three intro level tests. The judge just gushed over his potential in all the tests like crazy! They got a 61.9, 66.3, and 63.3 on their tests! They placed second, first and first!
Adrienne and Image cantered at a show for the first time together - they did all three intro level tests. It was a very distracting arena for Image but Adrienne stepped up and learned how to handle all the distractions very well. They placed second, third and fourth in their classes.
Carisa and Eliza were absolutely gorgeous. The baby thoroughbred was amazing. They did all three Intro level tests as well making this the first time Carisa has cantered at a show! And she piloted her lovely mare for her first time cantering at a show as well! It was a joy to be a part of such a special moment. For their eight month anniversary together they scored 63.1, 65.9 and 59 placing first, second and third!
Syd and Logan rode their first time at Training Level. They put in a couple very solid and steady tests scoring a 63 and 61 winning both of their classes and high point for their division!
Martha rode Mac in his first Training Level tests. She rode very tactfully placing third and fourth in their classes having fun while doing so!
Laura and Tanner went into the ring and remembered how to have fun and breathe! It was their first time showing Western Dressage Intro 3 and scored a 62.5, they placed first in both tests and won High Point!!!
BreAnne and Grateful had their second First Level show earning first place and High Point!

Bridget and Max made their First Level Debut and Max sure was feeling his wheaties! Bridget rode wonderfully as always and placed first and second for First One and First Two.
